Constructed and opened for business in 1951 Clover Leaf Animal Hospital was established by Dr. John Danis who graduated from The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1945 and after serving with the Army Medical Corp in post-war Japan, returned to Independence to start his Veterinary Practice.
Clover Leaf Animal Hospital is one of the longest-servicing veterinary practices in the Cleveland and North East Ohio area. Our client list includes many 2nd and 3rd generation clients from Cleveland and all of the surrounding suburbs. We are always pleased to see new walk-in patients. Please note that grooms and surgeries are scheduled in advance.
Our Doctors and Staff
Clover Leaf Animal Hospital is professionally practiced by Dr. Fred J. Wright, Owner, 1992 graduate of OSU, & Dr. Steve Danis, Associate, 1980 graduate of OSU. Dr. Wright purchased the clinic from Dr. Danis in 2019. Dr. Steve Danis joined his father after graduating from OSU in 1980, eventually purchasing the clinic from him. Dr. Wright joined the practice in 1995 as an Associate until purchasing the clinic in 2019 when Dr. Danis semi-retired. We are also supported by knowledgeable and courteous staff, some of whom have been with us for over 20 years.
